    Until now I wonder why most users expect the Enterprise version through the ESD when it is easier to install the Professional version and then upgrade to the Enterprise version with its Installation Key (in online mode) from Configuration / Activation

    This upgrade to other versions of Windows is also possible from the same parameter: Professional Education, Education, etc.

    That license switch is far from being compareable to a real Ent install. Same goes for ProfessionalWorkstation which won't accept more than 2 CPU sockets when license switched.

    The space left of the icon of a drive is for (this is my opinion) for bigger icon of drive. (rectangle icon)

    During installation you have to select the edition you want to install.
    Or try entering a key for the edition you want to be installed.

    hi my friends. I have a question between Windows 10 Pro and ProfessionalWorkstation.
    my system has:
    Intel Core I7-7700K 4.20GHZ LGA1151
    Asus Rog Strix Z270E Gaming Retail
    Ram Corsair CMU16GX4M2C3200C16B Vengeance LED BLUE 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 3200MHZ Dual Kit
    and SSD Samsung MZ-V6E250BW 960 EVO M.2 250GB for Windows 10 installation.
    between Windows 10 Pro and ProfessionalWorkstation will I see any difference in performance?
    I have already digital licence for both editions. any advice? will I gain something more with ProfessionalWorkstation?

    Pro will do fine on those specs i imagine.

    Specially because pro-ws doesn't take updates atm.
