Oh, I just installed fresh ISO from ESD Consumer file (pro_x64) and first time I open Edge, It says "Hey Insiders!". For specific reasons I had to reinstall twice, both says Hey Insider. Maybe intentionally (regardless what ESD it is). Or maybe I was insider client before So false alarm i guess.
I think it will give you that message if you are logged on with a MS account, and recognize you as an Insider member. The message will likely be changed with a server-side switch soon.
Does the welcome page has any url pointing to MS servers? May be the webpage dynamically updates itself after FCU is officially rolled out.
I saw that once or twice when i was testing with establishing a HWID for pro-ws but i never saw it on clean installs from boot using 16299.15 iso's. It seems all previously posted information has to be reposted over and over again when the release day arrives
Trust me. Did a clean install and its there. I will retry with new ISO. If its happens again, then @BladeGod is correct.
So it is not CPU related. My friend have AMD CPU like Me and He has the same problems. I will test this build, but i don't think something will change.
The CAB extension must be associated with some application (winrar or other). For the tweak to work, change the .CAB association in Settings> System> Default Applications> to Windows Explorer (default). That should solve.
Trust me, we have been on the job since oct. 3rd, and followed the developments closely and done manymanymany tests.
I don't like to start a new campaign for this. But no, not a watermark. When you first install 16299.15 and desktop comes to your front of eyes, open Edge, it shows Hey Insiders! inside a red balloon. Whenever you open a new tab or search anything, that pages goes and never show again. And, I accept those answers. When we get the ISOs, we get the exact same file as consumer file.
