as far as i can see, education looks almost identical to enterprise. .. not an expert here tho. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...sdn-isos-direct-from-msft.72165/#post-1295678
Okay so apologies but I too am a tad confused by the builds/SHA's.....for a while I've been running (and posting here) using this media which many agreed was RTM, but now I worry from a recent comment above about a possible bad build: This was the prior media I used to then convert (via WES script) successfully to ProWS: Spoiler 16299.15.170928-1534.RS3_RELEASE_CLIENTCOMBINED_UUP_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO SHA1: e9ffe6e0d699802911e3db008d11c419128316a7 ...and then everyone this last few days agreed that the 16299.19 patch that was NOT applying to the subsequent converted ProWS was just fine and expected and would most likely then be addressed by a public WU patch that was compatible with ProWS which would most likley drop today or tomorrow after official RTM release..... Are all these boxes built with the ProWS converted from this above ISO build okay, or was WZor's media (which I believe was the source of my media posted here) damaged or incomplete and do I now need to rebuild and start with all new base media?
Code: ============================================================ ESD Contents Info ============================================================ Arch: x64 Language: EN-US Version: 10.0.16299.15 Branch: RS3_RELEASE OS 1: Windows 10 Education OS 2: Windows 10 Education N OS 3: Windows 10 Enterprise OS 4: Windows 10 Enterprise N OS 5: Windows 10 Pro OS 6: Windows 10 Pro N Press any key to continue...
@Enthousiast thx for posting the ESD builds above but does this mean that the anticipated ProWS being included in the official RTM just didn't happen and we now need to continue using WES/dism to create our own ProWS media and if so, is is from the retail ISO, or from the VLK from your last post? I'm still also confused because we had that CLIENTCOMBINED UUP that had both retail and VLK and I (thought) that was an official MS media build but now I see today's RTM once again has the separate RETAIL and VOL so was the COMBINEDCLIENT 16299.15 really NOT the RTM we thought it was? Sorry my head is swimming from all the contradictory question posts, LOL!
ISO MSDN (MVS) and ESD have 5 indexes. I downloaded UUP and got ISO with 6 indexes including ENTERPRISE. Is this correct, is it the only difference between ISOs?
Well crap I missed that as I was doing the perm lic switching and moving all my boxes to ProWS perm, LOL! Crap! Because that blog back in August stated: Spoiler Windows 10 Pro for Workstations will be delivered as part of our Fall Creators Update, available this fall So I just assumed since back in Aug they began including those in the product.ini etc. and that announcement it would be safe.......so did you leave any of your boxes as ProWS? Did all that work getting all the perm tied to digital entitlement in hopes I could just keep using them.......
If your downloaded ISO's SHA1 is in https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-final-16299-15-pc.75255/page-85#post-1381157 then it is not corrupted/modified.
