    Is this the easiest way?
    Go to uupdump, download 18362.1 (18362.53 doesnt work, after installing updates and rebooting it wants to boot from network automatically and boot manager doesnt show the windows installation?!) and install 18362.53 via WU, correct?

    I'm not sure what you mean, but Nvidia cards are definitely supported for more than 4 years. Desktop Kepler cards (GTX 6xx) were launched in 2012 and are still supported by the 430.39 driver which was released yesterday. I bet even Geforce 8 series work just fine under 19H1 using the win 10 driver provided.

    PCI X-Fi cards were launched in 2005 or 2006, X-Fi Titanium HD released in 2009 or 2010, both got their final driver update in early 2016.
    What bothers me is that the Titanium HD, the highest end and possibly the last true X-Fi launched, gets left out while the lesser Titanium gets the update (they even use the same chipset - the EMU 20K2)... It is somewhat understandable for PCI cards, since they use a different chip and PCI has been a legacy bus for a few years now, and the soundcards themselves are well over 10 years old; but even so they are all listed as being supported on Windows 10. Isn't 19H1 still Windows 10? This is why all this "Windows as a service" thing gets confusing, at least they could try not to mess with driver compatibility between feature updates.

    Anyway, it is what it is, enough off-topic rambling.

    Windows 10 Compatible is a meaningless slogan, it merely means, it was Windows 10 compatible once, maybe it is now, and probably will be in future, but most likely not. :rolleyes:

    I have the current Creative SoundBlaster Z and the latest driver is from 2016. :mellow:

    If it works under 19H1 it does not matter.
    Should be the same for Xfi's too, but alas...

    I was downloading it myself when I put the link up, yesterday, and now today your posts concerned me so I downloaded it again via nvidia.com the files I have are binary identical (via Beyond Compare).

    Edit: In case anyone else is concerned -
    Code:

    If you are doing deployments with system images to new hardware (doesn't apply to upgrades), add this to your unattend.xml for a clean method of enabling System Restore:

    Code:
    <FirstLogonCommands>
              <SynchronousCommand wcm:action="add">
                        <CommandLine>C:\Windows\System32\wbem\wmic /namespace:\\root\default path SystemRestore call Enable %SystemDrive%\</CommandLine>
                        <Order>1</Order>
                        <Description>Enable System Restore</Description>
                        <RequiresUserInput>false</RequiresUserInput>
              </SynchronousCommand>
    </FirstLogonCommands>

    Use Windows System Image Manager to create the unattend.xml easier. It goes under Components, 7 oobeSystem, wow64_Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup_neutral, FirstLogonCommands, SynchronousCommand, etc.

    I also have the SoundBlaster Z. That 2016 driver is the only one that works with my surround sound. Every time Microsoft updates that driver, or I do it by accident without noticing, my rear sound starts going out my center channel and my L/R stereo goes out the sub intermittently while watching Netflix or Youtube or listening to music, etc. I have to blow away all the sound card drivers and reinstall that official driver from 2016 all over again, and then re-EQ everything. Such a pain. The only reason I still use the Creative card is because it sounds awesome, and the Realtek crap can't output surround sound over a single optical cable. Creative Labs stopped supporting the card 3 months after I bought it. :-(

    I was reading on Ryan Schlieper from Creative sub reddit forum, and he said that they are investigating there sound card drivers by the dev team for Win10 1903, as someone was having issues with a old (X-Fi Elite Pro) which is an old PCI card and he said there looking into the problem.

    My kid has x-fi extreme gamer card in his computer and he somehow has a sound, but not with creative drivers. Some microsoft drivers, i dont know. Danile_k should work for Microsoft. Bastards from creative wanted to sue him for releasing his own drivers for creative cards when they personally didnt do anything about it. All people who are using old creative cards owe gratitude to him for having sound in their operating systems starting with vista up to windows 10. So he must quit making drivers any longer. Otherwise i guess we would have new operating drivers from him for 1903.

    If I just copy-paste this commands into a NotePad & save that as .XML format & integrate into the ISO with NTlite, does that works in this way? Also, any chance to pre-define the quota for C drive i.e. 5% of C drive?

    Consider the Uni Xonar drivers with the C-Media panel. Will still need to use the Xonar default for the amp, but the drivers tend to be tidied.
