I also thought to do this, but I decided to install 1903 and it runs fast without problems. I made clean install. There are a lot of things to explore in this big update, So I didn't have patience to wait until end of May.
I made clean installation on my few years old laptop. Everything working fast, disabled telemetry, windows security and defender. I have only one problem with sandbox error 0x80070002. Language is polish.
this sandbox error seems to exist in all languages other than English .. here the same error occurs and when I tested the .iso image of the English version, the sandbox worked perfectly .. Now having to wait for a correction of this is very annoying because it is an old problem! ..
Anyone having issues when opening Apps in Settings? Like it crashes every time, so I have to first go to Storage and click Apps through there, and then Apps works. I don't think I've ever had as many issues with Windows in my ENTIRE life using Windows as I've have using Windows 10 over the past 4 years.
It's a known issue that's been mentioned several times in this thread. Apparently it only happens if you go into the Settings/Apps just after Windows has started, reports say it works fine if you wait a few minutes.
clean installation is always best practice over in-place update/upgrade. Deployed on three systems since MS released the ISO with customized it in my way & make it 18362.53 by adding CU KB4495666 & adobe patch, all clean installation. No issue so far.
