I even tried building an ISO with the updates integrated, booting into that installer and adding the update packages with DISM to the offline .86 image. It still didn't work even though /ScanNow and /Cleanup-Image (yet again ran in offline mode) didn't find any corruptions (neither did chksdk on c:\). I wonder if this has anything to do with my old habit of running /ResetBase after successful CU installs because I have the same situation on my Intel based desktop PC and AMD based notebook (so fairly different hardware with different user applications installed and with mostly different Windows user settings...).
When will these builds (1903) be avail for download for Server 2019? I checked the UUP Tool but it says no Language Packs available!
So you can access apps instantly after rebooting with no crash but no one else on earth can is what you are telling me?
Server 2019 is the long term servicing branch for the server side. There is no new build. There is a Server 1903 which is replacing Server 1809 that is core only.
There is a delay before the apps appear but no crash, I don't know, and can't speak for the whole earth but for me and my system it does not crash, just a delay before the apps appear.
Still crashes here, when instantly opening "settings" > "apps" after reboot. Update, it's still crashing, even after waiting several minutes. It took over 4 minutes before it would open
