Hi, Sorry if my question has been ask before But is 18362.30 build being offered through windows update yet or is it only via the media creation tool & or course UUP files & Info on this thread As I saw it was due late May 2019
Thanks for that but not as before say if a user clicks check for updates will be offer 1903 18362.30 if they are on 1809 17763.529 I only ask as many user get it this way but I think I read somewhere there were changes to the way M$ offer updates to new builds Please advise I already have 18362.145 running on one system which I got through this thread via UUP Tool But my neighbour who is not very good on IT stuff Ask when he would get the next build update through windows update as he normally does Thank You
Strange, the .145 version on my notebook asked for a reboot (a blue rectangle on dimmed background) to apply some "quality update". I allowed it ("Restart now"), then checked the WU log but there is nothing there (I was unable to install any CU since .86, so ran the full setup with a .145 installer, thus the WU log is empty, save for Defender stuff). The same Win10 version on my desktop PC didn't show any notification like that. I don't remember seeing this exact same blue window before (the Defender Offline scan and Network Reset is similar but that was launched by me manually, not something "out of the blue"). When WU want a restart that's usually different (but it looks like it wasn't even WU to begin with).
Thanks abbodi1406 and other MDL users who shared the ESDs and decrypter links. I installed 1903 on both of my laptops, one running HomeSingleLanguage and the other, ProN. However, I couldn't do an upgrade on the machine running HSL, as it always gave me this error: Code: 0xC1900101 - 0x30018 The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_SPECIALIZE operation. I had to do a clean install, unfortunately, because none of the solutions that I found worked for me. The other machine running ProN didn't face this issue.
How can I do that? That's where I went but now I have an ISO with 3 editions and not only the Enterprise one.
My ThinkPad P70, which refused 1903 previously, got it via WU this morning. Pleasantly surprised with the upgrade process, it's way less "looks like a new OS install" and behaved like any cumulative update, just longer. By longer I mean it was barely 10 minutes, which was very good. It installed to .145.
It should be the same process as since 1709, full UUP file set + separate updates by WU. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-409#post-1527413
The way they do it on that website is over 2 years old and already been implemented in the techbench dump options: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/download-windows-install-media-techbench-uup-svf-esd.72165/ All downloads, availailable in the OP of the linked thread are official MSFT iso's.
