Maybe yeah! I have to rufus the iso and boot on it then? No easy Windows Update way to update? It's the first time I use Enterprise, before I had LTSC so I'm not sure how it works EDIT: Yeah just found out it's an ESD, sorry! I'll look around how it works then, thanks for the help!
Upgrade by using the pro index of any of the iso's, consumer or business. You can use the ESD to directly upgrade but for upgrades, you can also simply convert the ESD to ISO and mount the iso in explorer and run setup.exe, no need for using external usb.
So I ditched using MSMG to strip stuff in the end and just made a PS script in my MDT TS to rip all apps (with a couple of exceptions plus the ones that refuse to come off) But I've noticed in my "optional features" list, everything is set to EN-US, eg handwriting, reognition etc. My unattend file is all EN-GB and the only & preferred langauge in settings->language is EN-GB but the only language under display language is EN-US. I don't have a way to get the EN-GB language pack that I can find for 1903 either. Does anyone know how to stop EN-US from being the display language during the install or how to get replacement ones to replace it with during a pause stage of building an image?
You can do that by using NTLite. Latest NTLite version does have that Adding FOD feature. Also, you can remove the EN-US language completely from the BASE ISO & pre-integrate your preferred language pack (FOD) with the ISO using that feature.
Why not just use the original en-GB iso? I thought he used en-GB and things changed to en-US after running his chopping script?
Even after installing the OS with EN_GB base language, the FOD still would be downloaded & added via MS store, I did the same (used EN GB ISO) & saying that from my exp so adding FOD pack with the BASE iso is what he's looking/asking for I presume.
Adding the en-GB language FOD's to an original en-GB iso, which already contains all language files? What exactly gets downloaded after installing the en-GB iso?
