OK. Seems I always get 'bantered' on this board. For best results, I feel some ought to stick to the issue in hand and be grateful for additional input... Maybe @Enthousiast, if you could offer a clear link to the enablement package I am supposed to deploy, that might help. Thank you for your input so far and much respect. Otherwise, for some minor tweaks nobody will ever notice, I will just wait like all the other experienced folk for the official (beta) release of this dying OS. I'm on a regular W10 enterprise if that makes a difference lol, x64.
you put the kb4517245.cab into the root folder of the C drive [aka c:\] (or specified the path for the "root" folder for that cab file) that's a big no-no if you have uac enabled since win10 may not let you store files there on the root folder of your C drive. put that cab file onto a temporary folder like c:\temp and correctly specify the folder where the cab file is located
Previously installed. Well, attempted anyway - even using the deprecated SHA1 hash... Misspelled username? Lol!
I don't get an original name, only a PHP string. I have to rename the file manually but the SHA1 hash still matches. Doubtless, this is *all my fault* but I doubt I'll be the only one, hence M$ are testing this fkucer on us... CBS log reveals nothing extra, btw. Just sayin'. Thanks for any input!
I'm not really saying anything, guy/girl... I just thought I'd try the latest version. Obviously, it doesn't work because it is for a different release channel. I'm simply informing a bunch of folk that I respect enormously, of my experience... Don't take it personal. Thank you for your time! b(-_-)d
i got the 1903 build 18362.356 update for my Enterprise edition via Windows Update, but i want a iso for future re-installs. Any1 has the link to Win 10 Enterprise x64 1903?
