You can compress the install.wim to install.esd and copy the whole iso to a FAT32 formatted USB key, it will boot uefi and legacy bios.
That's what the OP (first post of this thread) is meant for, it links to most, if not all, important info, download links, etcetc...
If your system is legacy MBR, just format the usb as ntfs and copy the content of the iso to it. If your system is uefi/gpte you need a fat partition. If your install.wim is < 4GB, just copy the content of the iso to the fat32 partion. If it is greater split the install.wim to have parts <4GB and copy to thr usb. What is your problem having a usb with 2 partitions?
rufus saids something about deactivating boot something that bugs me i did not have to do that before when i used rufus
Use this to do it for you, you only need to format the USB FAT32 in explorer and copy the files to it. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-install-esd-install-swm-creation-tool.78925/ Is your system a brand system or a selfbuild? If the latter, you probably don't even have secureboot enabled anyway.
You can try this script; it creates 2 partitions and AFAIK you don't have to worry "about something about deactivating boot ".
I only show what the tool says when i try to use it for Windows ISO. It created the USB, but only boots Legacy BIOS, it seems, and when the usb is inserted in the usb port on a running windows, windows wants to format it.
using rufus is easy the only reason it creates 2 folders as ya say is as mentioned above it dosent do anything to the install process at all the iso will still be the same size and have the same stuff on it as ya want it too
so do i have to deactivate anything like it saids how do i get rid of the second folder or is wise to do that then?
