There are no 1909 specific language packs, the ones at the OP are still valid: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...rrent-19h1_release.79259/page-24#post-1512819
It's not a problem, it's a feature. MS abandoned the load the start menu with crap approach in favor of allowing the user to set their start menu up as they please.
Hello sorry again, I installed the 18362.356 version and magically in the start menu the apps appeared ... Hello and good continuation
Nothing at all and illustrates exactly how MS no longer stuffs the start menu with live tiles and candy solitaire soda crush these days. And I could've sworn the user that had the issues posted a screenshot that looked pretty much the same. Apparently I missed something.
Me thinks it's because officially msft still claims insider status for 18363.32x+ RP ring. But all the updates offered publicly on 18362.xxx are also offered on 18363. Iirc, this was with 17763.1 or 18362.30 too, when the first MVS iso's were released to OEMs, near empty start menus.
on ad-guard there are two 1903 isos. whats the diff between these two? one is the normal file name and the other has V2 on it. whats all about?
Fake news, since I just got the candy solitaire & co on Home 1607 to 1903 as well as the vb release (many gigabytes of downloads if you don't disable Store auto-update first-thing). As always, the "cloud experience" is dynamically decided by the region you are and other factors such as previously opting-out or not. Not to mention that it sometimes lags for a few restarts and it might pop-in later on..
It's just a test install for another test i was asked to do, and the large search bar is one of the 1909 features, isn't it?
This bug has already been fixed in the insider builds (20H1), so it's very possible that Microsoft will back-port this fix to versions 1903 and 1909 "soon", just like they have back-ported other fixes before. In this comment I show what the Action center animation looks like in version 20H1 compared to versions 1903 and 1909: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...1-pc-fast-skip-vb_release.80437/#post-1554785
In regards to the Start menu kludge, I'm fairly certain I remember MS stating some time ago (and I'm paraphrasing here, people) that they were changing the default layout to a more minimalist one on clean installs and would only keep the crowded layout of live tiles under upgrade scenarios. That said, yes start menu suggestions still exist for some editions but not the ones I use day to day.
Wait, when did Build 1909 release? I am literally just upgrading to 1903 from 1803 as we speak. Please tell me 1903 isn't already obsolete? Also, is the 'MediaCreationTool1909.exe' available on the Microsoft website? Can someone share a link?
