It is not a question what build is RTM but about being a able to install future 1903 or not. Before it was automatic update, if i speak true, now i will be able to choose do i want to install it or not ?
Not really clear but as soon as the eol for your current build arrived you will be upgraded to the latest official build of that time.

So that means i will not have control over upcoming 1903 update, whether to install it or not, as same as before? I thought this sentance from microsoft might mean customer control over 1903 update: 'users who choose the new May 2019 Update for their Windows 10 PC via “check for updates ...
I am using Windows 10 1903 now I have not encountered any problems I have not yet tried all the games I hope it will not trouble
When MS will release full esd files ? I have win10 1809 3 months and the OS works not very smooth. And I don't want install it again. I wait to 1903 and I install 1903 only when full esd files will show. Now it not safe to install 1903 as main OS.
Seems to be a bit of confusion between insider builds and what they send to manufacturers. Insider builds have slightly different setup components that label things as insider builds and have different boot setup colors and such. The images that get sent to manufacturers are roughly identical to the final product in both install and setup files. AFAIK only the setup files on insider builds are different from the final esd/msdn/vlsc files. I'm basing this on the very few oem images I've had to work with in the past.
Decided to check out Fortnite to help out as so many seem concerned, not a fan of the build based gameplay myself, I prefer first person shooters. Anyway, it started up with Battleye today and played with no issues (200fps on low settings) for me on 1903 build 18362.53
I install 18362 as main OS only when full ESD files will released. Uup files belong to IP builds even 18362 is final version.
Is there an easy way to strip this build down of unnecessary apps and components offline? I just learned that msmg's toolkit doesn't support this build (or any other previews).
