Actually, on 1903 they will be completely removed. This is because the updates now do not add new packages like "Package_42_for_KB1234567" but instead replace the ones that come with the system — so they system ones get marked as superseded and get removed on resetbase.

I upgraded my 1809 x64 pro consumer to v1903. Installation went fine. However, now my start button doesn't work when pressed. All other functionality is there.
How can I reset my start button?

 

Are these 1903 ISOs RTM?

 

I was just curious because I thought 1903 was only coming out late May and yet here we are middle of April or so and 1903 ISOs can be downloaded!

When will the 1903 update be available in WSUS?

That's a symptom others have apparently had in the past when suffering from the issue I posted about a couple of pages back, if someone can find how to properly reset the start menu for 1903 it would probably be the solution for us both.

Does the windows key bring it up for you at all?
Can you call up event manager and look for errors in Windows Logs -> Application ?
