WiFi appears broken. Cannot connect! Tried a couple of different drivers, reset the router etc. It's a deal breaker for this build. It just says cannot connect to network.
If you'd done a upgrade from older build, do a clean install! Seems to be an pre-installed driver problem and that may could only solved with an clean install!
It was with a clean install! I'll reinstall again and use the older Asus PCE-AC68 driver straight away. If it is still an issue, I'll be going back to Windows 8.1, seeing as if I go back to Windows 10 it will install this build in a couple of days anyway. Can't even put in a feedback about it if I can't connect .
Install the chipset driver first before installing the right driver meant for your WiFi network. So I would suggest you uninstall all previous network drivers.
Connects but internet doesn't work. Just doing one last reinstall before giving up! I never had to do this with previous builds. Also, I have a Z77 board, support should be there!
my start menu/notification centre and wifi/sound buttons in the task tray will no longer open with 10074. I've tried sfc /scannow, restarting, changing DPI settings etc and it still will not open.
For me this is a very stable release. Everything is very fast including Project Spartan. I am using Spartan now as my main browser and Chrome as alternate.
I've resolved the issue regarding WIFI not working! So, what DOESN'T work: resetting the router using different drivers installing chipset driver (kind of wanted to work, but failed afterwards) installing three separate times! playing around with it as much as possible. What did work: do an upgrade inside Windows from build 10074 to build 10074 Yes, that worked! Strange, right?! So, for all those having issues with WIFI after a clean install of 10074, just run setup and install again from inside 10074.
