[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Build 10074

anyone getting very high cpu usage with WmiPrvSE??? its eating my cpu. killing it ,it just restarts

 

perhaps a matter of low RAM?

 

i have 8gb installed in this machine.

So whenever i press shift + 2 or shift + 3, it doesn't come out what it supposed to be? Anyone has this issue? and know a solution?

How do you get the dark theam in build 10074

 

Dark settings panel


Step 1: Press Win + R to launch the Run utility.


Step 2: Write down regedit and hit Enter to bring up the Registry Editor.


Step 3: Navigate to this location KEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Themes -> Personalize.


Step 4: Right-click Personalize and from the New menu, choose to create DWORD (32-bit) Value.


Step 5: Name it SystemUsesLightTheme and double-click it to edit its value.


Step 6: In the Data Value field, write down 0 (zero).


Step 7: Close the Registry Editor and run Settings to see changes.


Note: The Ctrl + T hotkey doesn’t work for the Settings menu like it does for the Store. To change it back, simply replace the 0 value with 1 in the registry editor.

DHCP broken for anyone?

I just installed this build on a brand new Microserver Gen8

ILO port that OS has no access to DHCP works fine
the two OS Gigabit Ports Cant get an ip so i had to set a static ip

 

KEY_LOCAL_USER?

No such key

Current user or Local machine

Current user has that path

 

So no one has this issue?
