Correct, this build seems to have an issue with USB mouse. Even on my laptop. Some left-clicks come up as of it were a right-click on the task bar, or sometimes requiring a few clicks. I honestly figured that Microsoft would have released a fix for this by not. Not too big of a deal, though, but a little frustrating at times.
why should a mouse need firmware update for anything? it is the simplest plug&play device. that is absolutely win10's fault.
same reason my k70 RGB had to get a firmware update for performance improvements and fixes for future os release
I had an optical mouse literally die during the install of build 10074. It's probably a coincidence, but it stopped functioning around 10% into the install and doesn't function on any computer I have tried it since.
Installed Windows 10 yesterday, used it for 15 minutes and then uninstalled it. Ugly interface, slow menu start and many many more. Still using Windows 7. Thank you.
15 mins it's enough time to install all drivers or programs or to get anything up and running no wonder you found it slow must be a old pc or no drivers installed
RTM coming this July so I've heard. Less than 2 months to make changes? The UI is terrible, even 8.1 is way better. They give us some poor mobile UI for PC users. Come on, get real.
Installed all drivers, using SSD so it took me around 5 mins with restarts. Used W10 once in 2014 and still minor changes.
Go to system > device manager > view > check show hidden devices > delete all HID - compliant mouse In fact, you can delete all the hidden, not used devices.
There is a HUGE difference between the build(s) of 2014 and the current one. And btw..they don't look terrible, it's justyou that finds them terrible. I personally think they are doing a nice job...
Yeah and Windows 8/8.1 was a step forward comparing to 7? People use 8/8.1 because Microsoft forced them to use it
