I just tried it and it worked for me. You have to click the ''Remove'' button and start the process all over again to see if that helps. Don't forget to restart your system.
Yea, Microsoft set the minimum amount of ram @ 2GB, IIRC (or else I decided that's what I needed for Vista--too far back for clear recollection!). Vista was fine as long as you heeded that particular bit of advice and had enough ram installed--it also ran fine with DX9-level gpu hardware--which everyone had when it shipped--lots of folks got hung up on that as I recall. Every time Microsoft has made an under-the-hood advance people get peeved about it. I couldn't believe the people moaning over Win95 who thought Win3.1 was nirvana... Ugh. I tolerated 3.1 at best. (Back then I was still using Amigas, mostly.) But, after Win 7 I didn't see much "advance" in their trying to move a pared-down tablet GUI into the Windows desktop GUI space--double ugh! I think they're on the right track with 10 so far--at least they seem to be cognizant of their actual customer base this time around...
