It is not for 7 it does not have embedded oem key in msdm table at the moment only machines that came with windows 8 or 8.1 pre-installed will have one.
If you want to do a clean install get the ESD, make a ISO (that takes mere minutes) and choose the option to not keep anything after that in W10 run the disk cleanup manager to remove the backup it created. Even if they release no ISO it's a freaking non-issue as you can just build your own and do whatever you want with it.
Don't freak out man. I know all of this and I do create my own ISOs every build. And do a clean install right after I finish creating my iso. 10 minutes later I either delete it form my VM or reinstall another OS to my HDD. I'm just supporting people from our community, and doing a little fishing for information.
My Lenovo G780 laptop came with Windows 8 installed. I have dual HDDs and I'm running Win 8.1 x64 Core and Win 10 x64 Core, Both are activated using My embedded key. So when RTM times comes and I do a fresh install or upgrade on My second HDD, Will My Win 8.1 OS still be Legit ?? Or if I want to roll back an upgrade from 10 to 8.1, will I have to phone Microsoft and have the Win 8.1 reactivated Or
It doesn't touch your activation, if your 8.1 is activated and you upgrade and roll back it's still activated.
i dont see why people are so worry about this......u can cross that bridge when the time comes...MS said already if u are in the insider program u can upgrade for free. everyone else can use Activator MS licensing verification has always been Swiss cheese
i have this issue thanks for suggestions i run windows update error fix in control panel but dont detect problem
u are aware 3D printer is needed....the software by itself is useless.....most likely u will not see it until the final release.
do you know if this will work with repairing the weather app,it seems the weather app is built in,no uninstall option in app settings.
But that would leave you without those internal apps. Add-AppxPackage exists, but I haven't found yet how it's used to add back something like this.
If it is on same computer I would think so it will work on Win 8.1 now so unless they change something?
with these instructions you can uninstall any app you need, and later you can reinstall it from store.
