how to disable completely all windows update ?

 

Windows 10 update is not even working

I just get this:

"We couldn't get online to download your updates. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet."

Tried local download & local+internet but nothing...

 

Xinso, this sounds stupid, but could you provide the nl-nl x64 again? I missed the window to download it because I was gone after you posted it.

 

build 10122 isnt letting my cpu go idle. causing it to run higher temps.


I keep power options on performance mode. but usually downclocks the cpu when idle. but its not doing it.

 

Run CMD as administrator and apply these command

sc stop wuauserv

sc config wuauserv start=disabled

To enable

sc config wuauserv start=auto
