    That is for sure caused by Fast Boot in W10, not supported by W7.

    anyone else having an issue installing Security Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview May Update for x64-based System from windows update, its failed about 3 times now

    Confirmed. That one failed several times and the 3 from today are all failing. No luck here with all 4 sitting in WU.

    EDIT: All 4 show "Requires a restart to finish installing" even after several restarts.

    but problem, still waiting reboot????
    i do it but nothing append after reboot, just 30% and nothing ??

    have you this problem too ?

    i didn't have any problem with the 3 updates on a x86 and a x64 both with 10122,i updated defender first then ran wu updates.

    The 3 Updates may appear to have installed but if you go to WU Advanced Options and check Update History you will see that all 3 Updates say you have to restart you Computer to take affect. No matter how many times you restart your Computer that does not go away.
    If you go to Control Panel, Programs and Features click on installed Updates, the 3 are not there. So where did they go?

    That's a good question. And mine are still stuck/lost in limbo as well.

    Has anyone tried manually installing these updates?

    Yes, that sounds very familiar to me...;) I had the same problem when I first installed Windows 8 in a dual-boot config with Win7. Thanks for reminding me!

    Based on my experience here, the Portuguese Brazil isos are the most requested here, and usually in a rather rude manner.
    Must be something in the water.

    lol ... these isos ALWAYS get uploaded after all other entries into my jukebox followed by Italian stuff :D

    Thank you for the link, this was quite helpful.

    Now to confirm, I tried to manually install the 4 updates and it stated that each were already installed on the system. I viewed the installed updates and sure enough, they are there.

    So it looks as though this is a bug within the modern Settings app, as viewing the previously installed updates there still shows that those 4 in particular "Requires a restart to finish installing".
