here all went just fine on both VM and tablet

 

I don't know why MS give updates to beta releases of windows 10, because the next builds have their bugs anyway.

this is a very pessimistic point of view. There might be bugs again but certainly have another color

 

I can tell you from experience that it will detect it before the install. That is the part of the smart screen filter as well. For a virus to be detected it has to try and run or be downloaded. It can't block things that never touch ram or the hard drive. It also says in the settings that is does prevent install

I don't believe per MS article that Win 8.1 and Win 10 are the same, the article for Win 10, says detect, not prevent, and as you know Microshaft is GOD. lol

just installed 10122 on parallels desktop 10 than updated it and it went flawless no crashing

Do you understand that a virus can only produce damage when it executes, and not by only being copied to your disk ?

You are right, that's not a picture of defender in win 10, its the settings for Defender, but what's your point ?

 

Feedback on Education version:

Settings is accessible thru Adjust Date/Time at lower-right corner.

Or display setting and Personalization by clicking desktop.

It does not stop virus from installing, just detects it, lets you figure out how to get rid of it

I think viruses are being confused as malware..?
