Anywhere to download the Synaptics 19.0.6.0? This stupid Synaptics 19.0.5.0 keep crashing (DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION+SYNAPTICS) Windows 10 everytime I touch the pad. Isn't there a stupid option to bypass certain update because you can't update anything else without it updating the stupid Synaptics. I have wasted like 2 days installing Windows 8 and the stupid synaptics also corrupted that too. So install Windows 10 instead and now also getting this #@$! too. WTF Microsoft?
I have been looking everywhere. I think this driver is for Windows 10 only and can be updated through Windows updates only. I just want to know how get this stupid update to 19.0.6.0 because some people have been able to. What exactly do you need to do to have it update to the newer version 19.0.6.0? Wait for a day? I try FAST update but it just keep reinstall the 19.0.5.0.
you could try the sentelic ones that worked on mine, and its synaptic as well, windows update gave my the latest driver from them for some reason and it just worked, i was shocked. Link: station-drivers.com/index.php/downloads/Drivers/Sentelis/ (Edit: too bad i cant just package the one windows gave me and just send it to you XD)
What the heck is this driver? Is it compatible with most laptops? Wouldn't WIndows 10 update(synaptics) over write this? I'm just fine with the default touchpad driver. I roll back to the old default driver and have no problem. It's just that I can't update anything if it's going to reinstall the 19.0.5.0.
Its probably just safer to roll back, i was just making the suggestion based on what windows update did for me, if it works when you roll back then that is your best bet. Sorry to confuse you, i just didn't know your situation, you sounded like the device simply wasn't working.
Personally I would contact the Manufacturer (Synaptics) and you blame the wrong company (MS) because the driver is Made by Synaptics and NOT Microsoft!!
Are you kidding me? They are both to blame. One for creating a s**t driver and one for not pulling it off the UPDATES and forcing people to install it.
That obviously doesn't work, it even says so in my picture: "Sign in with a local account instead", it thinks the Account is already connected.
Search in start button, how to sign in to Microsoft account, select one, if your already signed in, sign out, then back in again and then you might have to do what other man said, also their is a service in Services (Microsoft Account sign on or something like that, may need to start the service. May have to reboot if you started service, and check again to make sure it's running
