    Check out what I'd uploaded to Mega. You'll need Drive Backup for to 'restore' the driver but that's Freeware!!

    If Driver Backup gave the details of those missing drivers, please post that and I'll will check I have them. Maybe the problem is the different hardware, means different Laptop! I use an Acer Aspire 4752G.

    Please post all details, best would be screen shots, of all error messages.

    Here is the DriverBackup program showing errors. My computer is a HP dv7-1444us.

    I think FunkyMike may be on a promising track.
    I have looked here C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\synpd.inf_amd64_e26ca7ed9a9b5fa7 and this contains what appears to be the failing Synaptics 19.0.4.0 driver install package from Windows Update. It is approximately 146MB and contains over 200 files. Can you check to see if you have a similar synpd.inf type folder which may possiblely contain the Syanaptics 19.0.6.0 driver install package. Check an executable file's version to tell for sure. If so could you please upload.

    Anyone else's start menu start up invisible with only 2 tiles showing? I mean I just refresh the desktop and it comes back.. but there a fix for it?
