I had a (not) funny experience with Spartan's inPrivate. After an entire season with 10 tabs I closed the browser and in the next morning just opening Spartan it also opened all those inPrivate tabs from the previous night. It just not ready for daily use yet.
Not sure what error you have on shutdown but mine is referencng a memory exception that I have to click OK on to finish the shutdown.
My memory exception was due to 1 stick failing.... run mem diag, on 1 chip @ a time.... 1 failed also instantly. remove that chip/stick and no more exceptions.... ORDER NEW - getting cheaper all the time.
Question.... I can't for the life of it remember where the update files for builds are stored after they are downloaded and installed. I want to make an ISO of mine. Can anyone tell me Thanks
The downloaded/decrypted install.esd should be in C:\RecoveryImage folder. It should include four images: index:1 = the setup files of ISO\ index:2 = the 1st image of ISO\sources\boot.wim index:3 = the 2nd image of ISO\sources\boot.wim index:4 = the Windows image of ISO\sources\install.wim
After installing today's updates, I had my first BSOD since the earlier Insider builds. This one was CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED but unfortunately Event Log wasn't able to capture any details.
It must be the one. (I cannot remember well.) Please check it with elevated command prompt Code: DISM.exe /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\install.esd
Yes it is the "Install.esd" Just made an ISO from it. Thanks everyone for there help though. I could not remember.
