Maybe take a look in the mirror and ask yourself Is it me talking but I hope to see some progression on new builds here 10134 maybe
I bought the Windows 8 pro key. Now I loaded the windows 10 preview on the same pc. How will I get the Windows 10 key on its launch?
AFAIK you'll not get any Windows 1o Key!! The Free Windows 10 is precisely an upgrade from either an legit activated Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1! Read the related proclamations of Microsft around the Internet and you'll know what you need to do! Normally it looks like that you'll need to install Windows 8.1 Pro (from which you wrote you'd bought the License) and from July 29. onward, you could upgrade via Windows Update to Windows 10. After that, as it seems to be that Microsoft will capture the relevant data from your PC and it's activation, you could do even an clean install of Windows 10 (using your legit Windows 8 Product-Key), update or what ever you want with Windows 10 for the Lifetime of that PC! Until July 29. all relevant informations will be published on the Internet and other news by Microsoft. Keep an eye on that and you know all what you need!
Spartan still has a problem with ctrl-N and shift-click it opens a small useless window that needs to be resized every time and does not remember window size. Thanks for the hover, where r we going, but this one is another no starter. Some strange behaviors with more actions new window sometimes small, sometimes remembers, shift click and ctrl-n no longer work, and has crashed the browser. Crashes on its own settings is not good? Pop ups on settings gui pop up in the background behind the settings window. Can not find a way to uninstall useless appz that I do not want? Windows start still unresponsive some times. Wow these guys must be stressed if they are going to release this soon and hope for a good response. Regards
That's why I wrote: "most likely"! At this moment, nobody, except MS Staff knows exactly what will come!!
yes, we call it salamitactics (piecemeal tactics) here, to hand out infos piece by piece, and there are nearly 2 months, so much time for rumor
And just to mention, on MSDN, to which you've to subscribe to (and pay) there could be Key's to be handed out! But not everybody, in fact just a low percentage of users are subscribers on MSDN! Or am I wrong?
I think you are right it cost a lot of money to have a MSDN subscription and it is not worth it for me only for an OS to subscribe
