@xinso do you think that 10130.iso fix several bugs respect .esd ?

 

It normally provides update patches thru WU, not incorporated in ISO image.

anyone having issues with OneDrive syncing with build 10130

Does anyone having issues with OneDrive syncing?

I'm having an issue of OneDrive syncing ONLY at reboots. Currently on build 10130.

Works fine here on the x64 build of 10130.

 

I use ESD for

1. Making ISO
2. Easily deploying installation by dism /apply

For example

1. I use Abbodi1406 ESD-Decrypt tool to decrypt the ESD
2. Then I use the following command to apply the 4th image of the decrypted ESD to a real partition or VHD

dism /apply-image /imagefile:E:\ESDecrypt-wimlib\9926.esd /index:4 /applydir:D:\ /Compact

3. Finally I use the command to create a Boot Option for the installation

for real partition

for VMware VHD

bcdboot W:\windows /s S:

 

Is anyone else missing the "Disable driver updates" in the WU app? I installed the 15.5 beta AMD drivers so I could have a working CCC, but WU keeps removing it and going back to the May 22nd drivers. I want to run the latest AMD beta drivers from AMD's website.. Was the disable switch removed or just placed somewhere else? Thanks

 

I use the Abbodi1406 ESD-Decrypt tool (search this site!) to decrypt the ESD to an ISO and then use Rufus to create a bootable USB drive from the ISO.

I then boot from the USB and it's plain sailing (you may need to configure your BIOS to start from USB but most modern MOBOs will give a boot selection screen when you press a certain key. My HP mobo uses the Escape key for example

Look at the x86 ISO name: Windows10_InsiderPreview_x32_EN-US_10130.iso

Seems Operating system division of M$ is completely under pressure..

 

Anyone know how to get AMD Catalyst Control Center to work? Or how to prevent WU from uninstalling it after I install it myself? I need to enable the 3rd display asap.

EDIT: Never mind, I just installed the latest BETA 15.5 from AMD's site, and chose not to install the latest driver. I allowed it to install only the CCC software and this actually worked perfectly. Now WU can keeps its precious forced upon us driver.
