@ vipanonymous 352.84 on a 940 GTX, works fine with everything, when games crash or don't start it's due to libraries missing such as C++ etc.
Have not tried this yet - running low on DVDs and for some reason I can never get a bootable USB to work, even using Rufus... Could I mount the ISO via Virtual CloneDrive or Daemon Tools and run the in-place upgrade or would it fail when it reboots the system? Thanks in advance.... T
Should work but remember if you are running Windows 8 or above you don't need a 3rd party tool as it can mount images natively. Just double click the ISO to mount it.
Sorry, I should've mentioned I'd be running the upgrade from Windows 7 SP1 activated w/ Daz - then again, I may just want to do a clean install anyway because of that info... T
that's weird!! just format the usb disk as ntfs and use 7zip to mount the iso into the usb disk ( copy what inside the iso into the usb disk ) it works every time
Tried both Rufus and the Windows tool and neither were able to create a bootable USB for me. Both times, it would get to the teal Windows flag and just sit there. T
Solved my bootable USB issue... Last time I was working on my PC, I had to reset my bios settings (was trying to adjust some new memory and put in the wrong settings). I had USB set to the wrong speed (too slow). Adjusted it, and it booted up and W10 installed fine. T
...and it looks like that I'll be going back to Windows 7... Getting the explorer.exe memory error on shut down/restart and I'm unable to copy files. Doesn't bode well for a release that is less than eight weeks from Release.... T
I was reinstalling 10130 on my Laptop after having that Critical Error all times on 10134!\ Used the 10130 ISO from Microsoft Windows Website because I had slightly problem first time with 10130, special that Explorer Error. It's possible that MS has solved some Bugs in that ISo, i was thinking! Install went fine and all worked, except a few driver for the Laptop which always need to be installed separately. First time Restart after the finished install, I got that Explorer Error again. OK, checked with Windows Updates and there were 1 new update for June KB3069068 and an other KB3069065. Installed that updates and since I didn't got the explorer error again. Not sure it were solved with that Updates today or what else solved that problem, could be also from that new ISO?! Otherwise not any other problem (yet)!
theres some weird bug in this build like start menu would totally stop working after i wake up my laptop from sleep/hibernating its seems affecting task bar too like even the battery icon wont react to mouse hovering or mouse clicks edit : even notification center wont launch
the notification center is bugged, if you click it the whole taskbar "freezes" but still works. But wifi, sound and all the taskbar icons stop working for a while. The only solution atm is restart explorer or wait several minutes. If you don't click the notification center all works perfect
