Sorry, I should've mentioned I'd be running the upgrade from Windows 7 SP1 activated w/ Daz - then again, I may just want to do a clean install anyway because of that info...

    that's weird!!

just format the usb disk as ntfs and use 7zip to mount the iso into the usb disk ( copy what inside the iso into the usb disk ) it works every time

That will not work for somebody using a unified extensive firmware interface system.

Tried both Rufus and the Windows tool and neither were able to create a bootable USB for me. Both times, it would get to the teal Windows flag and just sit there.

    Solved my bootable USB issue...

Last time I was working on my PC, I had to reset my bios settings (was trying to adjust some new memory and put in the wrong settings). I had USB set to the wrong speed (too slow). Adjusted it, and it booted up and W10 installed fine.

...and it looks like that I'll be going back to Windows 7...

Getting the explorer.exe memory error on shut down/restart and I'm unable to copy files.

Doesn't bode well for a release that is less than eight weeks from Release....

I was reinstalling 10130 on my Laptop after having that Critical Error all times on 10134!\

Used the 10130 ISO from Microsoft Windows Website because I had slightly problem first time with 10130, special that Explorer Error. It's possible that MS has solved some Bugs in that ISo, i was thinking! Install went fine and all worked, except a few driver for the Laptop which always need to be installed separately. First time Restart after the finished install, I got that Explorer Error again. OK, checked with Windows Updates and there were 1 new update for June KB3069068 and an other KB3069065. Installed that updates and since I didn't got the explorer error again.

Not sure it were solved with that Updates today or what else solved that problem, could be also from that new ISO?!

Otherwise not any other problem (yet)!

the notification center is bugged, if you click it the whole taskbar "freezes" but still works. But wifi, sound and all the taskbar icons stop working for a while.

The only solution atm is restart explorer or wait several minutes. If you don't click the notification center all works perfect

At the install a few weeks ago and now again today, I didn't have that problems. Maybe depend on Software used, drivers or whatsoever but all machines. Mine is an Laptop too, an older Acer Aspire 4752G and works well, just need 3 drivers from Acer for to have everything works, except Broadcom XP Picture driver!

So, for me it's quite OK! Still will wait for the MS Release either an Build, if it come first or the RTM! Just Windows 10 will be the way to go for me!
