I know what the traditional terminology is and I really see no difference with this. You can still use traditional time bombed code if you keep setting your clock back and I would guess you might still be able to activate a new version of windows if you do the same thing here but it would be pretty stupid on their part if they let it be that easy. It will be interesting to test and see. If it will require internet access for the first time so they can control it from Redmond then that will be a first however I have also been predicting that myself so again we will see.
in times of the Internet you might get into trouble with faking bios parameters or trying to set other date and time in UI. Forget that and face the reality, enjoy a free update and that's it. Everything past that special year will cost money
I will My original response was meant for the person who plans to build a new PC next year and the point I was making was he better do it within the year..time bomb, no time bomb..whatever..it has to be done within that timeframe.
Does anyone know how to take the pinned boxes out of the start menu and make that empty space go away?
So we are getting windows 10 for free lol, the new question here is even those who run leaked builds ?

Interesting build that working fine, but the Store (Beta) not. Any idea how to fix? The app is crashing.
Have you tried in Settings/System/Apps & features/Manage optional features/Add a feature ??? I installed around there
FYI, that's in Manage Optional Features. Installed it last night myself, and Gabe mentioned it in his post today.
Doesn't matter, you will have to pay for it even if you put it over retail after a year just as in the past you would have had to pay for 8 if you put it over 7.
I originally took Windows 8.1 Pro x64 (MAK) key and using WU went to first Insider install.... have had no ISSUES getting updates and have used Genuine and Leaked and still get ALL WU Insider updates.... now be know when I remove the MS Account I do get constant popup "You must use your MS Account to get Insider Upgrades."
