You may have to do what Gabe said, maybe 10130 is their cut off point, I'd wait until they come out with new build first, but you may have to download (Not install) 10130 now, when build changes install 10130 then upgrade to new build
ok guys i see this thread is already turning into a upgrade and licensing issue after all theirs a thousand threads in this issue aleady....how about someone give me a hand with my .net frame work issue .....error code 0x800F0922
I personally consider the ADMINISTRATOR not having access to right-click Display or Personalizations a bug considering it displays an error message, and inability to access "Settings" AT ALL is a pretty large one. These definitely need fixed.
I just installed it. The Windows 7 version. You have to open it from the program files\Microsoft Games\HoldEm folder. I am sure you can create a shortcut.
Gabe Aul over at Twitter mentioned something about insider with registered msa getting free upgrade even if they have clean installs. I'm sure there's a catch though...
are u log in with your MS account.....i notice a lot of options dont work if u are log in local account.
I never said a preview build clean installed gives you genuine copy, and yes we are off topic Sorry thought you were referring to me
I know... About that .net framework error I just managed to install it just fine right now. Did u do clean install or upgrade.
clean install this is the biggest issue i seen so far for me....im about to reset the whole thing and see if that fixes it
Hold on I might have solution Did you try these already Make sure you have ISO mounted or cd put in drive At an elevated command prompt, run the following command: Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:<drive>:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess Note In this command, <drive> is a placeholder for the drive letter for the DVD drive or for the Windows installation media. For example, you run the following command: Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:S:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
How to repair Windows image: In ADMIN Cmd Prompt type sfc /scannow may take up to 3 times press enter on keyboard if this finds errors try In ADMIN Cmd Prompt Type Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Press enter on keyboard, wait for it to finish, If this does not fix problem, then With ISO Media in CD/DVD tray: (The same media you installed image with) Type in ADMIN Cmd Prompt DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:wim:C:\install.wim:1 /limitaccess press enter on keyboard, wait for it to finish--C would be drive letter of your CD/DVD tray If this does not work, sit back, relax several options now: Backup copy of image Reset/Recovery Reformatt partition, install ISO again Hope this helps
I'm always doing clean install anyway. That may be why I have no problems people mentioned above (Edge shortcut, Framework install etc...).
