    In my Win 8.1 the in-built Defrag offers 'Optimize' for my SSD, which is actually a Trim :g:.

    trim should be activated on any SSD since this keeps the disc healthy

    No problem, disabling defrag doesn't affect trim.

    My Cristal ball has no idea atm but I think that there will be some similarities which get fixed over the time

    You need streaming devices(google for them) like chromecast or others.
