Can't seem to get svchost to stop hogging my system every five minutes. Once it starts up it chews up my CPU until I force close it in cmd. Any other workarounds to this?

One can only imagine... hah! You know how I solve computer issues? By using my brain, and if my brain says "seek help", I use the internet in an interactive manner which doesn't involve having to engage other humans, which means Googling things, parsing the results, trying a few things and piecing together fragments of poorly written "guides", and then putting 2 + 2 together to ger 5,000, and the rest is common sense. The day I ask someone online how to do something, is the day I'll have forgotten Google existed.
