    I had some sound card issues when I upgraded from 130 to 158. My sound started out just fine, then stopped working altogether.

    What I had to finally do was uninstall the sound card in Device Manager, reboot, then re-install the driver as normal.

    Once I did that, it started working just fine.

    well let the post the first issue i see...the HD re-boot and shutdown issues continue 10158 im experiencing it now on one of my compso_O

    Converted ESD and installing at the moment. It asked for key before install, hope it won't be a problem that I skipped that step.

    I meant switch editions from pro to core. I can't find the core iso anywhere.

    Just had to activate Enterprise by phone ! Pro version activated fine upgraded to Enterprise without problems but it would not activate from the activation screen :tea:

    Windows will not be activated automatically after install if you dont use install key , use this:

    that's the main issue bud :D I don't see the build on here. It says "Your device is up to date" Grrrrr.......

    Yes, I have the same, except that I am in 5.1, so as soon as I pass from Stereo to 5.1, nothing.
    And the worst I have seen vollume bar increases on a device other than the one selected, this build has a big sound management problem.

    no problems on my setup with realtek high def audio i am in 5.1 mode ... on my asus z87-ws

    Realtek® ALC1150 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC

    I just made an iso from the install ESD, but it fails on upgrading. Anyone else have this issue?

    Oh, you still had the sounds when you activated the 5.1?
    Me the sound goes to another device when I touch to mode or sampling, but once I managed to put the sound is good, but I've never seen it again and I'm not alone.

    Then, after restart no sounds ...
    I can still sample and re touched all for it back.

    I wonder why ppl use ESD stuff ? WTF ?, You can't do clean install ISO from 10130 then WU to 10158 ? I never touch any ESD 10 foot pole.:D

    Two PC's up running 10158 smooth.:shisha:
