Anyone else found their card has dropped down to DX11.2 or less when they were getting DX12 previously in dxdiag? Very latest updated drivers and all.

Windows 10 is killing my mojo.. I have had to install it like 6 times now because something is getting installed through Windows Update and it's causing it to refuse to reboot after and when you hard reset it won't boot.... Anyone else having this issue? I am using this very build.

All depends on the drivers installed , WDDM 2.0 will show Dx12 as WDDM 1.xx will show DX11.xx

Is that true? I would like others to comment on this your claim. How in the world would Windows downgrade directX to 11.2 is something puzzling to me. Perhaps you are talking about the feature levels.

Geforce 560. Driver version 353.30 (their W10 version.)The only relevant details. Boot in 10130 or 10147 with the same drivers and it'll show DX12. Boot in 10158 and it'll show DX11.2 Edit: I am obviously referring specifically to "DirectX Version" in dxdiag not Windows itself.... Could well be the driver WDM model, it is back to 1.3 as theorised above. Hmm.
