I think the surprise was the Hero wallpaper. It was expected to not release until July 29th (or RTM anyway) as far as I know, but someone at Microsoft couldn't contain themselves any longer, lol.

Yeah agreed, this isn't no RTM. As far as I am concerned it was the new wallpapers, which now have a bunch of 4K wallpapers to check out and all kinds of different ratios etc. At least that was a big surprise for me...

The logon screen has the hero wallpaper, before it was only color

 

I am about to install mine right away.

 

the progress bar on the taskbar is back again from left to right, instead of bottom-up

 

some one mentioned the surprise may be something to do with the activation status. any one check that? I cant,i haven't installed it yet. thanks.

you need 20 posts before you can make full use of the site (I think it's 20, it's probably less)

ISOs don't get published by Microsoft until the build is pushed to the slow ring.

 

One thing I have noticed that is different, is that when I am signing on, instead of it loading after I hit the Enter key, it now seems to have already loaded up and instead now smoothly animates to the desktop. Anyone else notice that?

 

every time i try install 10158 via my usb 64gb 3.0 get error 0x80070500
anyone can help me? only can install Windows 8.1 via dvd
