this is odd. when finished doing clean install it had already selected to slide show my pictures that I have on my windows 7 install on a different drive. usually I have to set that myself? also my weather app was set to my city and I usually have to set that also?
"Welcome to your new preview of 'The Internet of Things' where anything that's connected will connect whether you like it or not and catalog every piece of data it can crawl through..."
The Store is now more robust than before. The apps have probably been upgraded and increased by Microsoft.
well I hope they are getting a good view of my pics cause I have playboy pics etc. rotating on mine.ha.
From Windows 10 open up msconfig and set Windows 7 as the default OS. Boot to Windows 7 and then reinstall the loader. Windows 10 has no impact on the loader at all. In fact at the moment systems that are activated with the loader even qualify for the free update. The only reason you lost activation status is because the boot sector was updated while installing Windows 10. The same loss of activation occurs if you allow Windows 7 to run startup repair due to a failed shutdown.
Since Insiders wont get RTM, 10159 is the RTM code that will be used to send to OEM's early next week, Of course if no major bugs are found. My theory of course
when installing it I select to customize settings and turn off all the share options etc. probably doesn't stop all of it though?
You understand how the syncing of settings works when you log in using a Microsoft Account, right? (He said, assuming greyaburton is using a Microsoft Account. If not, spooky!)
At the time of when I quoted him he didn't say there was theory... Now he said it was a theory in a separate post.... So I didn't miss anything And now he edited it as u can see from my quote on page 38
No problems at all with my realtek high def audio .... just updated by WU ... was fine before and after ... just my marvel console drivers to correct
also maybe the deactivation only happens if the two are on the same drive?(portioned in two parts) cause I'm dual booting with windows 10 on a separate drive and when I install windows 10, windows 7 is still activated? I have another computer set up with a partitioned drive and on that one windows 7 becomes deactivated after installing windows 10? I could be wrong, but that's what happens on mine. anyways.
