That was for Pro. And I know I could update to enterprise. Just want an original enterprise esd that's all
Downloaded the ESD from "openload.io/f/ztrQI7Kvphs/WIN10PROX64EN-US.esd" per above link. But the resulted hash (SHA1:3FA7CAB97F6614EFE38BB0E29A90208E907653FD ) did not match with the one posted above (SHA-1: f118fd6739df37c88e5c6a7d1d5dce80996e5890) is it possibly bad download? or those are two different file? Thanks
Mine did same thing, then finally downloaded it, went to install, nothing. so I rebooted opened notification icon on, taskbar, it said if I wanted to install 10159 I need to join Windows Insiders site, which I already had and opted out, so I joined again rebooted and 10159 installed fine. So I guess the best thing to do is join insider site to download these builds, but don't put them on top of 7, 8, 8.1, save those OS's for RTM, put this on top of 10130 or 10147
I heard somewhere that ESD hashes are very difficult to match but don't have a reason off the top of my head
They really need to fix this windows update business It's too complicated just trying to download something that should take a click of a button
Thanks for the info. I usually don't do upgrades either, but I think 10158 to 10159 was the first one I've done on Windows 10, and the first one I've done for a good while (I think I tried upgrading XP to Vista years ago intentionally, that was about it). What folder is the ESD in though? I thought it was in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, but I see nothing anywhere near 2GB in there.
Why do we keep posting screenshots or references to the ms-next website that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread? Windows 10 build 10159 DISCUSSION ONLY? Isn't that the title of the thread? lol
Can't wait for final build so I don't have to keep doing this business of downloading builds or esds every day
