I'm ready for the final code already but it's obvious it won't be anytime soon or they wouldn't still be sending out new test builds on June 30th.
Is there any way to back up WU update files (more specifically, drivers)? The "Updates from more than one place" thing doesn't seem to work (at least for me; if anyone knows if this can work, I'd love to know), and I have two computers that download AMD's graphics driver and Realtek HD Audio (totaling about 300-400MB). And downloading these updates twice on a slow DSL connection is... time consuming. I figured I could just go into C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and just backup the two driver files (d9e19222b206b4dd6ed9813f790565c2638d0f75 for AMD, dacf0fa79b73e81f152ca5d90e4fcc5be4835248 for Realtek), and throw them back into that folder on a clean install, but WU isn't picking up on these, and instead redownloads them somewhere (maybe I can throw them in whatever folder contains the partially-downloaded files, wherever that is?). Also, just a random thanks for mirroring the esd links! Kind of wish I could set-up some VMs and download/mirror some esds to help out, but my connection is in no-way up for that kind of thing...
I have the exact same problem. No solution so far Let me know if you find something. I'll do the same if I can figure it out.
Yes, I had these problems on 10130 - couldn't see 10158 on WU and same situation on 10158 - no update to 10159. I was compelled to d/l esd's from mega. At the same time, on leaked 10147 - it catch the build on WU immediately.
