The most annoying thing is : IT IS an incomplete and unfinished windows, IT will have hardware and / drivers softwares issue etc .... People should stop complaining and live with it until it's RTM, and hardware makers makes new drivers or updates them for Window10 There's a lot of people who whants to use it as a daily OS WRONG
To mention more. I believe that Microsoft sad that Windows 10 can run on less specs not older hardware. That means that manufacturers can create more affordable hardware and run Windows 10, not on old laptops or PCs.
That is very correct. I guess he has possibly lost sight of the previous ESD file in his system he intended for safe-keeping purposes.
Clean install 10158 and 10159 on Surface Pro 3, it opens and closes immediately. Upgrade from 10147 to 158 and 159 works excellent. I have tried many times.
well this much i will tell u....it was combination of lenovo drivers install in compatibility mode and generic drivers from intel and MS to finally tweak to run correctly....im not bashing MS but is all business at the end of the day.....MS knows older boxes will most likely not get any more driver support....sense vendors want u to buy the latest and greatest they have to offer.....so that plays into MS hands to try to sell u their Surface 3 wish is truly build to run windows 10.....according to MS.....many people out their will not be two days doing this to get it running.....a regular user dont have the skill or patience for something like this....so they just opt out and buy a Surface 3 win10 ready and most likely in a month or two with 10 install in it already. is all business at end of the day MS wins
It's an incomplete OS which has barely two weeks or so to RTM, which has had bizarre driver reversions back to years old stuff and has seen more useful and working drivers *removed* since 10147, and some extremely long running bugs and glitches. That IS something people should be concerned about this late in the game. The "early version" excuse doesn't wash when the OS is meant to be done and dusted in what, half a month now?
Did a clean install of 58 yesterday updated to 59 today went smooth no problem here running on my 5930K.
That will not work if you talk about the Microsoft Feedback App!! And the Hardware Manufacturer will give a Sh*t about if you send them an compliant! Special with HP, Sony and NEC I've that experiences. NEC even was going to answer that they're not interested to get their hardware products working on newer system, customers have buy new products! HP and Sony even didn't answered at all!! And just to mention: Apple is on the same line!!
Some of you might like to take a look in the Windows -> Web folder. There's a new "4K" folder in there. With the new wallpaper in up to 3840x2160.
The way i see it: the rtm will have bugs too, M$oft rushing an rtm will leave unresolved troubles in win 10, and frequently pushed udates will or may resolve them, we are guinea pigs. We can use feedback to tell M$oft what it's is wrong, but we have to do the same to the hardware makers too, and thoses guy are'nt fast as M$oft ... Had many quirks in the past with creative with their high end products, i've stopped using them completly, i have high end cards sitting duck in my drawer.
