Thank you. It's STILL not working for me. I've tried different builds and re-activating and all sorts of crap.
The second 10159 hit FAST yesterday, 10158 updated fine, Ive just reinstalled 10158 and am running into the exact same problem as you now, no updates
I heard lots of people encountered the same issue. Really strange. How did you do? Only previous builds work fine for me.
Go to services and change Windows update to automatic. Restart your system and log in with your MSA and check for WU.
Yep. Done all that. No dice. It could have a timeout period or something. Like perhaps a hidden task verifies things and wuapp uses that data or something. I don't know. I just know that everything under my control doesn't work.
thanx dude....this much ill tell u, im not upgrading any more this machine until the final build is release....is to much work and pain in ass to be doing this each time a new build is release or leak.....59 is staying on until the end
I know you're supposed to have been logged into the FAST ring MSA for 24 hours before you'll get new builds (According to MS) But I call BS on that because I'd just installed 10158 when 10159 arrived, and it worked fine Tried two different MSA on 10158 now and neither are working, where they did yesterday Obviously a MS issue
Here's how it played out for me I went all the way back to 10130 and nothing showed up so I just gave up. Then I grabbed a esd of 10158 and upgraded to it. Then after many hours of waiting for windows update 10159 showed up and I downloaded it
That's the win 8.* Key in BIOS. The problem I ran into is once a PC has been upgraded to 10159 and activated, I can't get any Key to activate a fresh install on the same PC My Internet is slow but it's not capped so I'll try doing updates through WU again and see what happens
Okay. Many people have complained of the same issue before. I hope Microsoft will rectify it in time.
