At least you can upgrade directly now from Pro to Ent .

As expected, was doubting they would use different keys here .

 

So the solution in my case was visit that Microsoft answers page posted a bit ago and do a fresh install using the keys listed. But using the keys to activate only did not help.

So in short, fresh install using 10159 and use the key when prompted. Apparently MS has changed the keys used in the preview and it will only accept the new ones.

 

So I installed both 10158 and 10159, and they both have this video glitch whenever I play Diablo 3. Like whenver im in the Diablo 3 game, the screen flashes, and then some / part of the items stuff are flashing, it's like disco lights. At first i thought it was my
video card, but then I switched and installed 10147 back and everything is normal now.

Does anyone have this issue?

 

I'm not going through the hassle of phone activation for something that I won't be using for long. I haven't tried putting a PID txt in the install yet, so doing that and running a refresh install off the desktop will be My last try. I'm beat so it'll wait for tomorrow morning USA time.

 

There's really no need to force the activation. 10159's "trial period" doesn't expire till Oct 1 and will continue to boot until Oct 15.

You'll get a new build and RTM long before that and this activation may or may not work on the next builds. I'm sure it's just Microsoft breaking something while working on the new activation and the upgrade mechanisms.

Mine broke after upgrading via WU, not going to bother fixing it. Just alerted MS on the feedback hub and that's it.

Just an Typo, same as yours: 100comma159!!

 

Windows Photo Viewer is not working for me. When I open any picture (bmp, jpg, etc) it instead opens the print dialog :S It worked properly when it was on a virtual machine but now this when installed live. It happened even without my graphics driver installed. Any ideas? I don't like to use the app

 

If the number given is having trouble and tries to transfer, hang up and try this number 855-469-9468. It is the Windows 7 activation line, but it worked for me. Tip from user at Reddit.
