Dude very simple. windows~BT is hidden. You have to check option for show all files and folders in windows explorer. You MUST have finished the download from windows update to get the esd (that's where we're getting stuck I believe) Install.esd is in the folder as soon as you finish the windows update download
Yeah, don't confuse this. ESD isn't always ESD . The new Store ESD files have been introduced to update Win 8 to 8.1 via the Windows Store. They contain all needed to create a Setup media. Index 1: Setup files to build the media, need to be applied to folder Index 2: boot.wim Index 1 Index 3: boot.wim Index 2 Index 4: install.wim/esd Windows Setup does the same like ESD decrypter, technically.
I don't think it has the .esd anymore which is why we have to add it before we make the iso. Just need to look for a file in there that is 2.5-3.5GB in size depending on whether it's 86 or 64.
Without the exact path, how could he get to know? e.g. While downloading = C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\5fb90898ff093397b4038d99b36084c7 (generated randomly) which contains state/.tmp/.exe Upon completion of download = .tmp decrypted and converted to C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\install.esd. Then, using install.esd, upgrade deployment starts.
When I first did the decrypt script I thought 2&3 were backwards. They named the upgrade "Windows PE" and the boot "Windows Setup"
hi guys just wondering if the core version is in with the pro?? could do with the En-GB core x64 if not.
