Yes, like a lot of people, including me. But, we're still installing TP's, the questions was/is what happens with RTM.
You can do that at the classic Control Panel. Click on Programs and Features, to the left-hand side of your screen click on '' Turn Windows features on and off '' and clear the little box close to ''Internet Explorer 11''. Click on OK, wait for Windows to process it and click on Restart tab to restart your system.
Which ever one your entitled too with the free upgrade. Because their all the same OS just with features switched On/Off AND you don't have to mess around with Fixes/Patches/Loaders/Cracks or what ever else people come up with to pirate a free OS
So they said yesterday (again?) that 10 will be pushed out to insiders on the 29th and from there who knows how long before the rest of the world gets it...the question I have is does that mean it will be pushed out only to insiders already running 10 at some official level or will it also be pushed out to insiders running 8.1 and logged in with their insiders MSAs?
From my experience yesterday trying to get 10158 and 10159 to upgrade to 10162. I'd say its only those upgrading from Windows 7/8.1 that will get it.
I'm curious! Are ppl happy with Edge as their everyday browser? Does it meet your browsing needs at this stage? Personally I felt it had some way to go as a fully fledged browser, ppl have mentioned ad blocking extensions not yet compatible, but is anyone using it as their main everyday browser?
I use Google Chrome where I find Microsoft Edge cannot do the task for me. Internet Explorer looks boring and aged. Perhaps I am not complacent with old browsers somehow.
Yes, and it is awful if I go through the app. The app tends to be unresponsive and takes time to detect my TV but if I simply right click the file and click cast to device, it is fast and works.
Memory leak. I'm investigating and it seems Windows Defender could be one of the culprits. I disabled it in the Local Group Policy editor and it seems it helped System process memory usage to not achieve those high numbers.
@Edit 1, if that's working then its new. Most of the builds I've tried you can arrange them, but the next time you look their all over the place again. @Edit 2, That's for Tablets, were Edge is a lot nicer to use than IE, but you'd expect that right.
