I believe esd are basically the same as official iso. And they are clean as a whistle too. Also they come encrypted so you can be sure it was not tempered with Edit: am I right that encrypted esd is secure?
Spoiler Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.10162.0 Image Version: 10.0.10162.0 Editions that can be upgraded to: Target Edition : Professional Target Edition : Education The operation completed successfully. I am running CORE edition
damn why 10158 to 10162 = slow ass system. everytime i do upgrade its slow as windows xp, everytime i do clean install its fast as windows 10 should be. what the fudge
should be interesting to see how this works i have one pc with 8.1+wmc activated by phone/skype (apparently permanent at the time) and a laptop with a genuine 8.1 core. so it looks like i can upgrade to win 10 core with that one...... which is a pig.
The new Upgrade path should allow to convert mounted Pro index to Enterprise ... that would spare to download additional ISO, nice .
so if we mount the install.wim and check about Edition we should see enterprise ??? i think that iso's come like win 8.1 2 iso's one iso ent and other core(home)/Pro except ofcorse the wmc is dead so -1 index in install.wim of win 8.1 hehe
Would need to mount a Pro index, set the new edition, unmount and at least set the new flags for the EditionID, similiar to ProWMC creation.
