Would need to mount a Pro index, set the new edition, unmount and at least set the new flags for the EditionID, similiar to ProWMC creation.

Anyone having issues with Windows Photo Viewer now? Keeps just opening the print pictures GUI for me...

Downloaded the Insider ISO for 162 and did a clean install.

First thing I noticed is that the System partition is larger now, and I think even larger than Win8. On my system, it was 500mg.

Anyone else notice this?

Edge will have to be nothing short of a Browser miracle for me to switch from Chrome. Both Firefox and Chrome users are set in their ways. I only see IE users switching over to Edge slowly but surely. But for me to switch it will need to be an absolute miracle of a browser and completely adopt my Google eco-system flawlessly. Otherwise, not even a remote chance of it being my daily browser.

 

So... I updated to 10162 from 10130. Everything went fine. Decided to reboot and what I saw was "Restoring previous version of Windows" and suddenly I am on 10130 again with no options to update in Windows Update. It just says "No updates available"... Any ideas?

 

The calculator app is upgraded in this build. It now has history and memory section to the right.

 

Did you guys find a way to change login screen wallpaper?

I tried that a few builds back 10122 I think
The upgraded 'Home -> Pro' wouldn't upgrade to Ent via DISM kept throwing errors.

Used standard Pro image and it worked with the same command.

ISO's now have two images Home, which can upgrade to Pro and Edu.
And Pro that can upgrade to Ent and Edu.

Not sure if the two Edu's are the same.

You can go from Home to Ent.
All you need to do is open Setting, System, About .
There you will see " Change product key or upgrade your edition of Windows"
Enter the product key for Enterprise and it will upgrade to that.
Works every time.
