misuse of Rufus or whatever. I don't know what you have done but one is clear: selfbrewed iso is ok and official one doesn't work ??? Where is the hook?

 

I used "Windows7-USB-DVD-tool".

You mean your going to be windows insider, clean install all the time, won't be long before you buy Win 10

Hi, the latest one 10162. I used to WinToFlash to make my bootable USB, I'm going to try Rufus and see if it makes a difference. Then I'll try the old fashion way and just try a DVD.

 

Can you say what Uncle Ways is

I might be in business, the install is taking alot longer now. WinToFlash might have been the culprit...fingers crossed.

Get your wallet out, and buy Win 10, you will anyway, even if you don't admit it, will have xinso investigate, hehe

 

if win the lottery yes i will buy one ... but 5 years now i use Kmspico or Windows Loader ..xD

 

Usually I can run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:X:\Sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess
to clean up my image. Could with 10162 esd but not with 10162 ISO....weird
