There is definitely a 164 and it may even get released..there was a 165 too. You are correct in that 166 was the last sequential build, it then jumped to 176 and then 192 (both build numbers divisible by 16) if there is another you would think it would be 208.
using watermark remover breaks windows search, i learned it the hard way. i couln't understand why i could type note to get notepad etc and search for apps etc
Best was to start WCP Remover a second time in a VM and find it stating 'Couldn't Determine Windows Version' . Clever to use the 'wmic os get caption' string it removes to do it's own checks .
The sign-off of the RTM is in 2 days so maybe Microsoft release the last build today or tomorrow for sending the last bugs and problems and polish the rtm build.
They should just let us test the RTM, before public release so they can get feedback and patch it if needed.
What on earth will you all download when there'e no new ISO's to download each week! Just think of all those connections sitting idle!
If you believe them there won't be a windows 11...this will be the last OS they ever make because it will never be finished. This whole thing has been setup so they can just continue to add on to it forever which is why the RTM really doesn't have to be all that great as they are probably already fixing it in the next build..maybe 192.
