Well... new builds are always fun I guess On the other hand... downloading updates from local network machines really needs to get working. I have 3 machines with 10 so far (planning on adding two more soon), and downloading 2GB+ for each build on each computer is going to be horrible on low-speed DSL...
No. I wish that was the case, but it's not. It was one of the first things I tested when we started decrypting esd files. Each time you create a WIM file, it generates a GUID which is unique and based on time. I suspect that minor variations in data also occur, but that doesn't matter. The GUID is enough to make a hash different and thus render the entire download susceptible to DMCA takedown notices. The DMCA takedown notices, I suspect, are the primary reason for the no homebrew rule.
upgrade took 10 mins and the download was epic fast anyway good build but i want another loool 10169 please
Do you mean after you create the ISO? Use the decrypt tool in the OP (wimlib-v5) Code: decrypt thefilename.esd
I think this is the last build before RTM, as no more impressive builds on ms-vnext site since this build, and its already on 10164 only 2 builds newer than the one we got. Unless they only make impressive builds for us insiders?
Yeah, which is weird as I didn't have that problem with previous builds so MS must've changed something. As others have stated even the latest Realtek drivers do the same thing. I'll find out for myself and report back
hmm..well explorer has crashed already, the menu won't open...guessing I need to upgrade all of the drivers once again...and that was after an upgrade this time too.
