Why does the new control panel / settings menu default to this huge window size when it only got a handful of icons to show? The huge amount of wasted space all around looks horrible and the app window itself fills up a stupid amount of the screen for no apparent reason other than making it look horrendous. And how come the share window is identical to Windows 8 / 8.1 and looks completely out of place? And the title bar is still only changing colour with a few built-in applications like the Phone Companion app but barley any others? Why?!
From where you know is redstone starting with 10500, maybe redstone is started with some build version 11xxx redstone will be 2016... also with windows 7 and 8 and 8.1 if see in build version jumping build from pre-RTM to RTM official is jump from 100-260 number or microsoft make full number last with 10X00... This is my opinion, if some wrong please if know more information please share here.
Use this to remove minimum size limitations with Modern Apps Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\ApplicationFrame] "DisableMinimumSize"=dword:00000001 Also at winaero.com there is a theme which enables color in Windows borders.
[rant] What is completely beyond my comprehension is how could they manage to introduce major bug just few builds before RTM sign-off. One would expect more and more stable product, not more broken crap than previous builds. What is even more infuriating they have the nerve to write that there is ABSOLUTELY NO MAJOR BUG WORTH TO SPEAK ABOUT. I mean, seriously?! Broken audio ain't major? What else, pink unicorns are serving you cold beers and jumping on your dic*s?! Because that is the only acceptable excuse to have this s**t in three build in a fuc*ing row!!! [/rant]
Seriously, you don't think Microsoft has let hardware manufacturers have the code to create new drivers? You can hardly blame MS for this. Call up your audio driver manufacturer, and tell them to get off their butts and right a drive which works.
I don't have Creative. That's one thing. Second thing is Realtek had Win10 for months and they were ALL working perfectly up to build 10130. So, on one hand hand you're saying that new build didn't borked audio and that drivers were broken from day 1 and only by miracle they were working the whole time. Or, the drivers are actually OK as they were since beginning and new OS build broke the sampling. In which reality does your proposal makes more logical sense than mine?
Did you ever think that like with most new OSes Windows 10 may have been mainly windows 8.1 until build 130 and all the new stuff started coming in then? Again, if it's a piece of hardware not working you need to go to the vendor.
