It's not working for me in windows 8.1. Also not in this build.

 

I don't have Creative. That's one thing. Second thing is Realtek had Win10 for months and they were ALL working perfectly up to build 10130.
So, on one hand hand you're saying that new build didn't borked audio and that drivers were broken from day 1 and only by miracle they were working the whole time.
Or, the drivers are actually OK as they were since beginning and new OS build broke the sampling.

In which reality does your proposal makes more logical sense than mine?

Did you ever think that like with most new OSes Windows 10 may have been mainly windows 8.1 until build 130 and all the new stuff started coming in then? Again, if it's a piece of hardware not working you need to go to the vendor.

I see application frame under current version but not under current version\immersive shell

is that key supposed to be added along with the new value?

 

You really don't know how OSes are developed do you?

 

Just copy code to text editor, save it as a .reg file, and merge.
