Always read the instruction/statement carefully from the very beginning.

User's just to lazy, or even didn't understand what they're reading! First is much more likely!!

Thanks AzTec I already know about that. If I do that it changes the date format as well. I shouldn't have to do that. Australia and NZ is English like US is. I get the feeling that Microsoft isn't going to add anymore regions.

Unless I just "happen" to randomly check Task Manager at the right time, System is usually fine. Right now it's sitting at 30.6MB. I could check it randomly later on and it might be at 900MB.

That... doesn't quite answer the question though. The question is "why does the System process eat large amounts of RAM randomly". I'm looking for a specific answer, not some general statement that basically means you have no idea what the issue is :p

Well, back to 10162 i go, this has constant network issues for me, both LAN and WIFI just keep going down and only get fixed after a reboot :(

What wireless and ethernet chips do you have? Could probably be fixed with a simple driver update.

I have found what seems to be a strange little "fix" for the Critical Error. After another reinstall, rather than choosing the customise option for the settings in setup, I picked express. This then has let me create a local account and so far the build is now running.
